Registration Closing Soon for D-Tools SI 2015 User Training in London, May 12–15

Intensive hands-on training teaches D-Tools users how to harness the power of SI 2015 System Integrator software to maximize workflows and operational efficiencies

CONCORD, Calif., USA — (May 7, 2015) —D-Tools Inc., the worldwide leader in system integration software, announced today that it will soon close attendee registration for the multi-day D-Tools System Integrator Training taking place in the UK May 12–15, 2015, at the Holiday Inn London, Brentford Lock. A three-day comprehensive, hands-on training event is being offered, and for the first time, an additional one-day advanced course will walk attendees through the D-Tools project lifecycle, offering extensive tips, best practices, and proven techniques to help maximize their use of D-Tools SI 2015. Ryan Brown of Media Entertainment Design, a D-Tools training partner, will lead the regional training event.

The schedule for the intensive multi-day training session is as follows:

  • Day one (May 12th) will serve as an introduction to SI 2015. Users will learn how to custom-configure the D-Tools software package to the needs of their specific company; how to build and manage their product database; manage revisions and change orders; better understand how to exploit the D-Tools reporting engine; be introduced to tips and best practices; and gain hands-on experience creating winning proposals.
  • Day two (May 13th) is a deep dive into product documentation. Trainees will get valuable hands-on experience creating comprehensive D-Tools documentation, including Microsoft Visio Line Diagrams, Floor Plans, Elevations, Schematics, and Installation Reports.
  • Day three (May 14th) will take users through management processes and advanced skills, such as customizing reports and an introduction to the new Mobile Install feature, which gives users the power to publish Install Tasks and Service Orders to a portal powered by the D-Tools Cloud that can be accessed by those in the field as well as to send and receive device-level notifications. The training will wrap with a walk-thorough of D-Tools native iOS application—Mobile Quote—that enables integrators and sales people to specify products and generate documents and quotes from any jobsite in the world. Attendees will also leave knowing how to integrate D-Tools with QuickBooks to streamline accounting processes for attached D-Tools projects.
  • An Advanced Course will take place on day four (May 15th) and is designed specifically for experienced D-Tools users. Custom reporting, advanced drawing and customization, and other higher-level processes will be reviewed for attendees looking to take their experience to the next level.
