Revel‘s New Architectural Series Speakers Debut At CEDIA Expo 2010, Coupling Best-in-Class Performance With Stylish New Design And Ease Of Installation

New speaker line delivers Revel’s award-winning acoustic performance in a sleek, easy-to-integrate design, providing installers, designers and clients with superior performance.

ATLANTA, Georgia – Building on the company’s best-in-class sonic performance, Revel today introduced a complete new series of architectural loudspeakers at CEDIA 2010. Featuring 21 models, the speaker line has been crafted with a design that brings a fashionable new look and a dramatically simplified installation method.

All the models feature a patented new mounting mechanism that streamlines integration with a tool-less, one-handed installation design. Stylish frameless grilles easily attach magnetically and add a sense of modern chic to all in-wall and in-ceiling models – the latter ship with both round and square grilles. These features reinforce what is already perhaps the finest sounding line of architectural speakers available today.

“These speakers sound better, install easier, and look better than anything that is currently on the market,”? said Jim Garrett, Market Manager, HPAV. “These products have all the right attributes including our dealer network and support to help maximize profitability on any residential architectural audio project.”?

All models benefit from Revel’s state-of-the-art driver technology including advanced, low-distortion motor structures, cast frames and tweeter designs from the same engineering team responsible for those in the reference-class Ultima Salon2 flagship speaker. When coupled with Revel’s other award winning speaker lines – the Ultima2, Performa and Concerta series – the architectural series provides a parallel performance option that gives users the ability to mix and match with premium traditional loudspeakers.

“As the economy returns and business improves, integrators are seeking to capitalize on the recovery without increasing fixed overhead,”? continued Garrett. “These new models serve to round out a best-in-class product offering from one of the most respected brands in the industry allowing dealers to focus on a single profitable line as opposed to carrying two or three brands to cover the same categories and retail price ranges.”?

Revel’s complete family of speakers will be on display at CEDIA Expo 2010 in Atlanta, Georgia at the HARMAN booth number 1824.
