Revolabs Advances Collaboration at UC Expo 2017

The Yamaha CS-700 is the first solution of its kind to bring together audio, video, and collaboration capabilities in a wall-mounted system. It boasts a Revolabs beamforming microphone array, ensuring that every word is perfectly captured and delivered to the far end. In addition, four Yamaha speaker elements provide the highest degree of audio intelligibility for all of the participants in the room. Through an integrated USB port, the CS-700 is ready to connect to an organization’s chosen UC platform, such as Microsoft(R) Skype for Business, Cisco(R) Spark, GoToConference(TM), Google Chromebox for Meetings(TM), Vidyo(R), WebEx(R), Zoom(R), BlueJeans(R), and many others. The unit’s special wide-angle video camera captures all meeting participants in the room. Over the same USB connection to their laptop or tablet, users can seamlessly and intuitively join a meeting. This plug-and-play approach allows users to quickly get started without wrestling with disparate video, audio, and collaboration components in the room, thus eliminating complex steps from the process that can waste valuable meeting time or require the assistance of on-call IT staff. In addition, the CS-700’s integrated network management system allows IT staff to remotely manage each unit from one location, increasing service response and efficiency.

At the booth, Revolabs will also demonstrate its family of FLX(TM) UC USB and VoIP conference phones. Comprised of the FLX UC 500, FLX UC 100, and FLX UC 1500 models, the series is designed to satisfy the critical requirement of high-quality audio for virtual meetings originating from offices, huddle rooms, and medium to large conference rooms. In addition, attendees will see the YVC-300 and YVC-1000 USB and Bluetooth conference phones from Yamaha. Designed for groups of four to six people and with portability in mind, the YVC-300 is a perfect choice for organizations that want to offer high-quality group communication solutions without the cost of dedicated equipment for every conference room or open collaboration space. Users can simply borrow a device from an available supply, connect it to their PC-based audio, video, and web conferencing client via USB connection and return it at the end of the meeting. Bluetooth-enabled, it also turns smartphones and tablets into conference phones by acting as the microphone and speaker. For larger conference rooms and training rooms, the Yamaha YVC-1000 conference phone features a separate microphone and full-range speaker unit that can be placed close to the video display so that audio and video from the remote location blend naturally.
