Revolabs to Demonstrate Range of Teleconferencing and Microphone Systems at ISE 2016

SUDBURY, Mass. — Jan. 20, 2016 — Revolabs(R), the premier provider of audio solutions for unified communications (UC), enterprise collaboration, and professional audio applications, today announced that it will showcase a broad range of products in stand 9-D115 at ISE 2016, Feb. 9-12 in Amsterdam.

“From enterprise to education, and government to healthcare, organizations are taking advantage of UC systems to be more productive and efficient. But no matter how sophisticated the hardware and software, people have to be able to hear each other in order for a UC system to reach its full potential. That’s where Revolabs comes in,” said Jim Fairweather, executive vice president of global sales at Revolabs. “Our products play a critical role in an integrated system by providing pristine audio quality. The pros who visit Europe’s biggest AV trade show will get an up-close look at those products and how they integrate with some of today’s most popular hardware and software.”

At ISE 2016, Revolabs will demonstrate the entire FLX(TM) UC family of IP and USB conference phones, which offers a complete portfolio of UC solutions with crystal-clear audio, beautiful design, and stand-alone communication capabilities. Engineered to set a new standard for audio quality in unified communications applications, the Revolabs FLX UC devices satisfy the critical requirement of high-quality audio for virtual meetings originating from offices, huddle rooms, and medium to large conference rooms. The company’s FLX UC 500, UC 1000, and UC 1500 conference phones — all of which are now shipping — feature powerful, high-fidelity audio capabilities that combine premium tweeter and midwoofer elements, four integrated microphones, and audio technology such as acoustic echo cancellation, ultrawide frequency response, and full duplex support. The result is incredibly clear-sounding calls in UC applications such as video- and audio-conferencing, softphone calls, or webinars. USB ports make it easy to connect the unit to any PC, Mac(R), or Chromebook(TM) and improve the users’ communications experience for whichever collaboration software they use: Skype(TM), Microsoft(R) Lync(R), Vidyo(R), Cisco WebEx(R), and many others.

Using the FLX UC 1000 and UC 1500 devices in meeting environments with on-premises or cloud-based IP PBX systems, organizations achieve greater efficiencies by letting users bridge calls. Both the FLX UC 1000 and UC 1500 feature a convenient dialer with 3.5-inch color display. With the UC 1500 model, users can add two directional extension microphones to augment intelligibility in larger spaces, resulting in the industry’s first all-in-one conferencing solution specifically designed for large meeting environments.

At the show, Revolabs will also demonstrate the latest enhancements to its flagship Executive Elite(TM) wireless microphone systems, including selectable LED behavior to indicate microphone status, fast-connect AVB, a new Web interface, and over-the-air synchronization that provides interference-free wireless audio while eliminating the need for systems to be physically connected. The latter capability is especially helpful in installations with limited wiring accessibility, such as historic buildings. Revolabs Executive Elite products remain the only wireless microphones available with native AVB support.

Also on display will be Revolabs’ new Elite Wired Microphones with Local and External Control. Ideal for environments that use wired, wireless, or a combination of the two microphone types, the Elite Wired Microphones with Local and External Control provide the same user interface and experience as other microphones in the Elite Wired family and the Executive Elite wireless microphones. New this year is a five-wire microphone which, unlike its three-wire predecessor, offers local mute control — meaning that not only can muting be controlled remotely via other system hardware, but there is a mute function on the mic itself. Also unlike the three-wire version, the five-wire version has an LED display for visual indication of the mute state.

Finally, Revolabs’ Director of EMEA Russell Harpham will present a case study on Feb. 10 at 11 a.m. and Feb. 11 at 12:30 p.m. in the ISE Audio Solutions Theatre. Titled “How Humberside Police Northern Command Centre met the Challenge for Critical Event Recording,” Harpham will explain how the U.K.’s Humberside Police integrated Weston Digital’s Symphony Ambient recording solution with the Revolabs Executive HD(TM) wireless microphone system to manage incidents from multiple control rooms while maintaining meticulous quality and compliance standards.
