Revolabs Helps Remove Proceeding Barriers at Courtroom Technology Conference 2017

SUDBURY, Mass. — Aug. 15, 2017 —

Revolabs®, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Yamaha Corporation and part of the Yamaha UC department, today announced its participation in the Connected Justice consortium at the Courtroom Technology Conference (CTC) 2017, Sept. 12-14 at the Salt Palace Convention Center in Salt Lake City. Connected Justice, an extensive AV partner ecosystem and marketplace that leverages leading technology to bring more efficient and secure remote collaboration to the courtroom, will demonstrate its end-to-end remote collaboration system featuring Revolabs’ Executive Elite™ wireless microphones within a mock courtroom at the show.

“Working with other leading technology partners to build a communications network and platform designed to remove common proceeding barriers will help increase the pace at which cases are processed, grant more access to services not readily available when needed, and control costs,” said Mick Kamihara, CEO of Revolabs. “At CTC 2017, attendees will see first-hand how Executive Elite easily fits in with other solutions and enables the clearest audio needed for successful courtroom interactions.”

Through the Connected Justice solution, courts can bring more efficient and secure remote collaboration to the courtroom. The Connected Justice Remote Video Interpretation system increases efficiencies and access to resources such as interpretation and translation services that may not be available in-house. As a result, the platform provides face-to-face collaboration without the cost and time of travel and allows courts to increase case disposition rates as well as help ensure court safety while controlling overall costs per case without sacrificing presentation and representation quality.

A special highlight of the mock courtroom demonstration at the show, the Revolabs Executive Elite wireless microphone is engineered to provide superior audio capture capabilities for video- and audio-conferencing. The wireless rack-mount microphone system is available in 2-, 4-, or 8-channel versions and may be used with any combination of Revolabs’ tabletop, wearable, and gooseneck microphones or with handheld, ear set, lavalier, and other styles of microphones using adapters. Ideal for today’s courtrooms, it features security assurance with AES-256 encryption and automatic rekeying to safeguard confidential communication and easily integrates with other solutions in the room. In addition, the Executive Elite system will be part of the AVB/TSN networking technology demonstration at the exhibit.
