CHAMPAIGN, Ill. — C.V. Lloyde Audiovisual (CVLAV), a leading provider of audiovisual systems and services for professional and collegiate sports venues, today announced the promotion of Russel Goodwin to Vice President of Engineering & Operations.
Goodwin joined CVLAV in 2022 and has played a key role in strengthening the company’s engineering capabilities and operational excellence. Most recently serving as Director of Engineering, he has helped guide the successful design and deployment of complex audiovisual systems for sports and entertainment facilities across North America.
In his new role, Goodwin will oversee engineering and operations while continuing to support the company’s commitment to innovation, quality, and exceptional customer experience.

Goodwin is a seasoned AV professional and an accomplished executive and program manager. His previous role at CVLAV was Director of Engineering, having joined the company initially as Director of AV Operations. Prior to CVLAV, Goodwin was Director of AV Systems Design at Henderson Engineers of Lenexa, Kansas, and before that was a Senior AV Consultant at CollectiveTech, a division of Henderson Engineers. Goodwin was an Associate at Acoustical Design Group from 2009 to 2012 and was Technical Services Manager of then-AVI Systems from 2004 to 2009. He is an AVIXA Certified Technology Specialist-Design (CTS-D) and Certified Quality Technician (CQT) from the Association for Quality in Audio Visual Technology (CQT).
