Mexico City, Mexico, May 12, 2015 – The Scotiabank Training Center has created a new and innovative way to train its employees: high brightness projectors and interactive whiteboards. The Scotiabank Training Center in Mexico City has installed four CP-AW3003 projectors connected to four StarBoard Link EZ2 interactive whiteboards to train new and existing employees. The digital classroom was designed with the aim of reducing costs in education and training of employees at various levels within the company.

The StarBoard Link EZ2 interactive whiteboard creates a transformative learning environment for a hands-on training experience. Paired with the CP-AW3003 projectors, Scotiabank is able to cut training time through the interactive learning process. Time is used more efficiently and learning the bank’s systems is made easier than ever before.

When looking for the right projectors and interactive whiteboards for the training center, Marco Antonio Hernandez Posadas, Hitachi product manager for Representaciones de Audio, wanted high quality fused with ease of use. “The CP-AW3003 projector is a bright, high-performing unit,” said Mr. Hernandez Posadas. “It has been easy to train everyone at the training center to use them with the Link EZ2 interactive whiteboards, making the training process simple and effective.”

Along with the four projectors and four StarBoard Link EZ2s, the training center is equipped with four PCs and four Apple TVs with the capability of sending images to any or all of the projectors. There are also 30 iPads available for each participant to share content via the projectors.

Scotiabank has received positive feedback for the projectors and interactive whiteboards from the attendees of the training center. “The projectors have worked flawlessly as well as been a tremendous help for training the staff,” said Mr. Hernandez Posadas. “The efficiency made possible by the projectors and interactive whiteboards is priceless.”
