Shure Becomes Zoom Rooms-Certified with Several Key Audio Solutions

ORLANDO, JUNE 12, 2019—As part of Shure Incorporated’s commitment to building the next generation of audio products that power collaboration in the workplace, the company has become Zoom Rooms Certified for several key audio-conferencing solutions. Zoom Video Communications, Inc. (Nasdaq: ZM), is a provider of easy, reliable video-first unified communications solutions running across mobile devices, desktops, telephones, and room systems.

“The Technology Partner Program helps our partners grow their video collaboration offerings while continuing to provide value-added services for their new and existing customers,” said Eric Yu, Hardware Partnership Manager, Zoom.

Shure products have been a preferred solution for Zoom ProAV designed room systems, but Shure has now gained the Zoom Rooms Certification with Shure’s Microflex® AdvanceCeiling Array, Table Top Microphone, IntelliMix® P300 Audio Conferencing Processor and Microflex Wireless microphone products.

As part of Shure’s certification efforts, Shure worked with Zoom to confirm that Shure’s Mute Sync feature on the IntelliMix P300 product worked seamlessly with Zoom Rooms. This feature provides easy synchronization of mute control and LED notification without an external control system.

Whether it’s a corporate conference room, special event venue or higher education campus, sourcing a dependable audio solution that provides crystal clear audio while also integrating with leading collaboration technologies is important for successful communication. Designed for such demanding environments, Shure Microflex® series networked microphones and IntelliMix® digital signal processing products enable easy-to-deploy, cost-effective, premium audio suitable for a variety of rooms and applications.

“Zoom users rely on quality audio to conduct their meetings effectively and we’re proud to provide certified products to help improve the overall meeting quality,” said Chris Merrick, Director Global Systems Marketing at Shure. “Audio quality is critical to effective unified communication for any scale meeting, from a one-on-one discussion to a large 20-person conference. We know we can deliver our mission of extraordinary sound with certification with leading platforms like Zoom.”
