SNA Displays is Building the Biggest Curved Digital Out of Home Screen on the West Coast

LOS ANGELES—SNA Displays is performing a massive overhaul to one of the largest and most recognized LED video installations in Los Angeles. Known as the Circa Digital Spectacular, the new design calls for an even bigger, higher-resolution LED display hat will become the largest curved digital-out-of-home (DOOH) screen on the West Coast. Located in the heart of downtown LA’s sports and entertainment district, the new display will be 330’2” long and contain 20,000 square feet of LED canvas, a tightened pixel pitch, and 55% more pixels than its predecessor, also built by SNA Displays.

The property at Circa LA along with the reimagined LED spectacular is owned by a partnership of investors and developers including Hankey Investment Company and Jamison Services. Out-of-home media specialists BIG Outdoor will operate the landmark media destination, adding to an extensive DOOH network in Los Angeles.

“We are very pleased to be working with our team of SNA Displays and BIG Outdoor to create an even bigger and better experience in downtown Los Angeles at Circa,” said Scott Dobbins at Hankey Investment Company.

Bill Tagliaferri, president of BIG Outdoor, added, “This incredible display offers brands a one-of-a-kind platform in the epicenter of the city’s sports and entertainment scene. Circa will be the most impactful digital display in Downtown Los Angeles, perfectly positioned to capture the world’s attention during marquee moments like the FIFA World Cup in 2026, the Super Bowl in 2027 and the LA Olympics in 2028.”

While the original LED video system at Circa consisted of three large screens that wrapped the southeast corner of S Figueroa Street and W 12th Street, the new DOOH platform will be a single screen with concave and convex curves to integrate seamlessly with the building’s architecture. Featuring a tighter 8 mm pixel pitch, the refreshed Circa screen will measure approximately 330’ long by 60’ high (12,580 x 2,280 pixels) and process 28.7 million pixels.

“As one of SNA Displays’ most recognizable and frequently referenced LED displays, the Circa Digital Spectacular holds a special place for many of us,” said Craig Sholder, SNA Displays director of sales. “We’re incredibly grateful to continue being a part of the transformation of the downtown Los Angeles skyline.”

P.S. Services is performing demolition and installation services under the oversight of Los Angeles-based Rasool Sayed, project director for SNA Displays, who also oversaw the original display installation. The new Circa Digital Spectacular is scheduled to launch in January 2026.
