Register to attend the August 6 session here.

SnapAV, the industry-leading source of A/V, surveillance, control, networking, and remote management products for pros, today announced that Chief Product and Technology Officer Charlie Kindel will be the featured guest speaker on the second edition of Essential Install magazine’s EI Live! Tech Talk Series on Thursday, August 6, 2020 from 3:00PM to 3:30PM BST (10:00AM to 10:30AM EDT). This new webinar initiative is the brainchild of David Kitchener, managing director at All Things Media Ltd. Registration for the session, entitled “The Tomorrows World of the CI Industry,” is now open here.

According to Davy Currie, Host and Moderator of the session, “Charlie is the perfect tech visionary to cast a far ranging look at both the past of the CI industry as well as its future in all of its rich and varied forms. As the person most responsible for the design and development of more than 4,700 products across 20 distinct product categories, Charlie is uniquely qualified to present and elaborate on his vision of the industry’s future.”

Davy Currie is the Managing Director of Infracore Home Technology Consultancy, Founder of Infracore Group (a new start-up accelerator for the AV & Integrated Systems sector) and sits on a board as Non-Executive Director with two other home technology companies. Additional panelists will include Will Hopkins, CEO of the Intrinsic Group, a global leader in the field of smart homes and future technologies; Chris Turner, Founder of Faradite, a smart home accessories manufacturer; and Dan Sait, the founding Editor of Essential Install and Group Editor of All Things Media ltd.

“I am honored to participate in this groundbreaking series,” Kindel said today. “The first edition provided a compelling look at the future of Smart Cities and it is my hope that attendees of the second session will come away from it with the same degree of enthusiasm that I have for the future of the CI industry. More than ever, particularly during this time of COVID, we are seeing and experiencing how AV and IT technologies are coming together in new and exciting ways to help humanity connect, communicate and collaborate as never before. The pandemic is challenging all of us to reimagine the role played by integrated AV and IT technologies in every part of our lives. I look forward to exploring the implications of this trend for all of us who serve in this industry.”
