Stampede Kicks Off 20th Anniversary Year at ISE 2018 with the Launch of Major New Sales Initiatives

With a nod to its past and a vision that takes it far into the future, Stampede, the global leader in value added distribution, today kicked off its 20th Anniversary year at ISE 2018 with the launch of new sales initiatives designed to further separate it from commodity-driven distributors. The company is hosting an array of solutions from its vendor partners, along with its Drone Pavilion, at ISE 2018 at Stand 14-A100 in the RAI Exhibition Center.

What’s more, the company will take time from its busy trade show schedule to celebrate its 20th Anniversary with a beer/wine/champagne reception in the ISE Stand at 1600 hours (4:00PM) on Wednesday, February 7th. All are invited to attend and celebrate with the Stampede team.

“Since 1998, Stampede has invested tens of millions of dollars to build the AV industry’s best, most robust and diverse customer base,” Stampede President & COO Kevin Kelly said today on the opening day of the show. “More importantly, we have invested countless hours in learning about our customers, their business strategies, core competencies and their staff, resulting in the strongest working partnerships in the industry today. All of this has been done to provide our vendor partners with real growth opportunities that combine the best traditional and new products into the next generation system solutions our resellers need to meet their customer needs.”

In fact, according to Kelly, Stampede’s unique commitment to combine best-in-class brands with custom designed integrated systems that meet real-world needs across all vertical markets is what has kept Stampede ahead of the herd of commodity-driven competitors. “The dynamics of the industry are constantly changing. New players are entering the market. Acquisitions are taking place that reshape the competitive landscape. Only one thing remains constant in this ever-changing industry — Stampede. We remain the rock upon which manufacturers can extend their business into the future,” Kelly asserted.

Backing up this assertion with action, Stampede today unveiled six major new initiatives that are being rolled out this year — Business Intelligence Teams, Reseller Zone, Direct View LED Technology Solutions Centers, Mobile Technology Showrooms, 1:1 Power Networking Events and a special 20th Anniversary Gold Rush Promotion. These six initiatives are in addition to the company’s current mix of sales and marketing programs that include the global Stampede Big Book of AV Tour & Conference Series, participation in major industry trade shows in the United States, Europe and Asia and strategic partnerships with Unmanned Vehicle University and Unmanned Vehicle Insurance to provide the necessary training and insurance required of today’s growing base of drone and Drone Video System operators.

According to Kelly, Stampede’s 20th anniversary year comes at a time of rapid growth and expansion for the company. In 2016 Stampede acquired Just Lamps and, overnight, became the world’s largest supplier of replacement projector lamps. The acquisition also provided the company with an immediate global footprint throughout the UK, Ireland, western Europe, the Nordics, Australia, New Zealand and Asia — a footprint that the company is now leveraging by being able to offer manufacturer partners with a robust one-stop way to go to market around the world. “No other distributor can even come close to matching what we can do for manufacturers,” he asserted. “We can literally scale up business opportunities for our partners around the world — opportunities that are supported with the service, support and training that Stampede is renowned for.”

Kelly is optimistic that the industry will continue to see sustained growth this year as more and more retail, hospitality, corporate, higher education and sports brands strive to creative more immersive customer experiences that increase engagement that translates into greater dwell time, return visits and, as a result, higher sales volumes. “The market is ready, willing and able to invest in our technologies,” Kelly summarized. “The animal spirits of capitalism have been unleashed, and corporations around the world are using the integrated AV experience to differentiate themselves from their competition.”
