Stampede Big Book of AV Tour & Conference Rolls Into Phoenix for Its Final Stop of 2015

AMHERST, NEW YORK, December 3, 2015 –After a year that included more than 10 stops in the US and Canada’s largest metropolises, the 2015 Stampede Big Book of AV Tour & Conference concludes on December 10th, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., in Phoenix, Arizona, at the Sheraton Phoenix Downtown Hotel. Through a series of CTS-certified training sessions, compelling subject-specific presentations by executives from leading manufacturers, and an InfoComm roundtable, the event will demonstrate how forward-looking ProAV dealers can profit from the newest advances in commercial electronics. Registration for this not-to-be-missed event is now open here.

“2015 has been a year of tremendous advancements in established ProAV product categories such as 4K, video walls and projection, in addition to the creation of an entirely new category, Drone Video Systems,” said Stampede President & COO Kevin Kelly. “The opportunities presented by these advancements are going to be at the top of an agenda that’s packed with solid business-building information that dealers can profit from right now.

What’s more, for the very first time, Stewart Filmscreen, the Academy Award® winning manufacturer of high-performance projector screens, projector screen material, and specialty optical coatings, will be exhibiting its Cima® by Stewart Filmscreen product line to attending ProAV dealers. “Our recent partnership with Stewart Filmscreen demonstrates Stampede’s ability to continuously offer our dealer network industry-leading product and services,” continued Kelly. “We’re proud to introduce the Cima by Stewart Filmscreen lineup ofprojection screens to attendees at the Phoenix stop.”

According to Kelly, dozens of leading manufacturers will be on hand exhibiting their latest technologies and new product offerings in literally every major product category that matters to today’s ProAV dealer — audio, video, display, projection, lighting and staging, digital signage, conferencing, digital content creation, networking, signal distribution, and much more. “Like every stop on the BBOAV Tour & Conference Series, the Phoenix program will feature a rich mix of presentations and demonstrations that show dealers how to introduce new solutions to their customers and upgrade their portfolio of traditional product categories with new model introductions by leading category-specific manufacturers.”

The CTS-certified training sessions and presentations commence at 9:00 a.m., following a complimentary breakfast. Sessions and presentations include “Drone Video Systems: A New AVCategory for a New Age of Opportunities” by Eric Jameson, Stampede Product Manager, Drones; “Atlona, 5 Things You Need to Know Before Installing 4K” by Amelia Vrabel, National Sales Manager at Atlona; “Optoma Present What Is New In Projector Illumination” by John Glad, Product and Business Development Manager at Optoma; “NEC 10 Steps to a Successful Video Wall” by Mark Weniger, Account Manager of Channel Sales at NEC; “Samsung, Sorting Out Media Players for Digital Signage” by Jonathon Brawn, Brawn Consulting; “Cut the Cords: BYOD and Wireless Presentation from any Device” by Ed Pham, Business Development Manager at WePresent; and finally an“Overview of the Drone/ UAS Industry and Business Potential” by Paul Dragos, Dean at School of Flight Training at Unmanned Vehicle University.

Concluding the information-packed Tour Stop is a two credit CTS-certified InfoComm Roundtable Event entitled An Exception Experience: A Fantastic Journey and Workshop. Moderated by John Woodstock, Director of Business Development at InfoComm International, the afternoon roundtable will discuss how today’s ProAV dealers need to go beyond solely offering customers equipment and begin offering “exceptional experiences” – ones that combine technology, content, and space to craft an event, communicate a message, and/ or solicit a response.
