Starin introduces Zoom Channel Hardware-as-a-Service

Starin defines HaaS as comprehensive assurance, combining three key elements to being equipped with communications hardware and support.

As the market development and Audio-Video solutions distributor in North America for the global Midwich Group, Starin announces the launch of a channel program, designed especially to enable Integrators and Resellers, to provide Zoom customers AV Hardware-as-a-Service.

The goal is for Zoom end-users to be provided the full scope of how “HaaS” benefits their experience over the life improved enterprise communications. Starin defines HaaS as comprehensive assurance, combining three key elements to being equipped with communications hardware and support.

The first advantage is financial. Bobby Swartz, President of Starin explains, “Starin delivered thousands of Zoom Rooms in 2019 via our aligned channel partners. In the current market uncertainty, preserving cash while optimizing remote communication, is key for many businesses. We have offered HaaS since 2018 on a select basis with our Zoom kits, right for simple DIY huddle spaces. So, its proven. With our global footprint and our ongoing focus on complete Zoom Solutions for our channel, we have crafted and perfected HaaS in a way that meets the demands of a changing economic environment.” Midwich will be simultaneously announcing a global HaaS initiative.

Secondly, there is assistance available to keep the communication paths and systems flowing and functional. Finally, there is a utilization plan available to monitor and measure service, as well as advance adoption. The program also adds flexibility for expansion and technology changes.

“HaaS goes beyond just getting hardware on a monthly payment. It is about confidence, where support completes the experience.” Malissa Dillman, Director of Market Development at Starin continues. “An eBook guide for channel providers explains what’s in this for them and we have materials to present to customers as well. An upcoming webinar will take a dive into the details.”

Starin is the distributor for a majority of Zoom certified solution brands. DTEN and Poly all-in-one appliances will be the first and easiest for channel partners to provide and implement. Meeting the demand for quick and adaptive hybrid set-ups for classrooms and offices, appliances will be complemented by a full range of room solutions up to divisible and all-hand spaces, contact-less entries and digital signage, where additional integrator services can be included in the monthly HaaS.

As a mission, Starin is amplifying its strong 31 year heritage in the unified communications sector to help end users, supportive channel resellers and manufacturers have valuable resources in the Zoom eco-system.
