SANTA BARBARA, Calif. — Sept. 5, 2012 — Visionary Solutions Inc. today announced that technology distributor Toner Cable will showcase the company’s products at the upcoming International Broadcasters Convention (IBC), which takes place Sept. 7-11 in Amsterdam. On display will be Visionary Solutions’ AVN443 and AVN420 IPTV encoders, MPP1700 media processing platform, and PSA200 power supply. Leveraging Visionary Solutions’ powerful IPTV encoding solutions, content providers can convert video from any analog, HDMI, DVI-D, or HD-SDI source into full-screen, full-resolution digital video suitable for broadcast over public and private networks in real time.
Toner Cable will showcase Visionary Solutions’ robust AVN443 HD-SDI and AVN420 SD IPTV encoders. Powered by the company’s sophisticated H.264 hardware compression and optimized transmission technology, the encoding solutions are fully compatible with all multicast, webcast, and video-on-demand protocols, enabling content providers to stream high-quality IP video to an unlimited number of clients based on available bandwidth.
Also at the booth will be Visionary Solutions’ MPP1700 and PSA200 encoding support products. The MPP1700 is a high-density, rack-mountable blade system that can accommodate up to 17 single-slot AVN encoder blades, or a combination of dual and single-slot blades, as well as dual redundant power supplies. When equipped with two of Visionary Solutions’ PSA200 power supplies, the MPP1700 allows operators to reliably prevent equipment failures. If one power supply fails, the second automatically takes over to eliminate downtime, ensuring a consistent and high quality of service for end users.
