Ultimate Sound Teams with RCF at new Cascades Park Amphitheater

Ultimate Sound and Light in Tallahassee, Florida is celebrating their 20th Anniversary this April. Throughout their 20 year history, they have provided event services for several Presidents to providing tour management and engineering for major rock and country artists; while at the same time offering design and installation services to local restaurants, venues, churches, government agencies and businesses. Some past productions include engineering and tour management for Creed and sound engineering on Ozzfest.

This winter, they were honored to be the first audio and lighting company involved with the new Cascades Park Capital City Amphitheater in Tallahassee. The new 3,500 seat venue opens its inaugural season in April (April 12 – Tracy Lawrence & April 13 Charlie Wilson).

As the concert amphitheater is part of the 26-acre Cascades Park, Ultimate Sound first provided the production equipment, engineers and techs for the initial sound test calibration which set the limits for the local noise ordinances. There were several events and performances that evening enabling them to monitor db levels outside of the park and around the area.

Ultimate Sound and Light’s team brought in 12 RCF HDL20-A dual 10” two-way active line array modules and six dB Technologies DVA-S30 dual 18” subwoofers per side designed to be the front of house system for the venue.

“The audio array was seamless and we could not be more proud of the system’s performance” commented Dave Hart, President of Ultimate Sound and Light. He also added “We look forward to another 20 years with our partners at RCF. Their staff, has been amazing to work with and we are very glad to be part of their family.”
