ATLANTA, GA – January 13, 2020 – Visix, Inc. has won a platinum AVA Digital Award for Overall Blog for their expert digital signage blog, a platinum award for their College of Charleston AddlestoneLibrary interactive kiosk a gold award for their Massachusetts Institute of Technology voice-activated interactive wayfinding and another gold award for their University of Maryland STAMP Building interactive wayfinding in multiple languages. The company also received an honorable mention for their Landmark Christian School Athletics Hall of Fame board.
The Visix blog includes more than 250 separate articles on a wide range of topics of interest to digital signage users and communications professionals, as well as those considering adding digital signage to their communications strategy. The College of Charleston Addlestone Library interactive kiosk is a custom fullscreen wayfinding project that includes floor maps of the library, directory listings, donor profiles, an on-site events schedule and a campus map. The Massachusetts Institute of Technology wayfinding project includes voice-activated controls for interactive wayfinding for all six floors of the building. The University of Maryland wayfinding design offers comprehensive coverage of the Adele H. Stamp Student Union, and includes floor maps for all five levels, directory listings and events schedules in English, Spanish and Mandarin. The Landmark Christian School project lets people search historical info and photos for championship teams and athletes.
