Wild Woods Festival Relies on RCF

The Wild Woods Music and Arts Festival returned to the Page Farm for the 5th annual year! Located in Croydon, New Hampshire, the 70-acres of farmland and wooded areas nestled in the Sunapee mountain range provide a colorful palette and serene setting for the weekend festival held August 10-11. The festival offers musical and visionary arts in a colorful, communal atmosphere of camping and comraderie.

For the concert main stage, RCF partners MediaStructura and SB Productions teamed with HSP Event Productions, providing the small format RCF HDL6-A dual 6” active two-way line array system coupled with custom shop SCR82L dual 18” subwoofers.

“Due to limitations on size and weight on the main stage,” says MediaStructura owner Graham Tobias,” we used eight HDL6-A per side. Using the RCF Shape Designer software we were able to effectively model the coverage area.” The result? “They easily maintained desired coverage and SPL levels, and felt incredibly linear in performance.”

With a lineup that included Lotus, the Emancipator Ensemble, Pink Talking Fish, Orchard Lounge and others; Tobias continues, “We noticed that who of our major headliners made no adjustments to the system EQ, solidifying our impression on how good the system sounds.”

MediaStructura (www.mediastructura.com) is a Somerville, Massachusetts-based audio-visual company that has been producing, managing and engineering events in the New England area for over a decade. With a philosophy of “creative production and strategic design,” the company provides event production and installation integration in the region.
