In an effort to promote responsible custodianship of the Earth by reducing package waste and increasing the use of recycled materials, The Quest Group (parent company of WireLogicâ„¢) today announced a new company green initiative. In accordance with the initiative, The Quest Group is transitioning all of its WireLogic products to new eco-friendly packaging.
WireLogic is migrating to the use of polyethylene terephthalate (PET) in its packaging, as PET breaks down in the environment at a far more rapid pace than the commonly used polyvinyl chloride (PVC). To eliminate waste, the company will use recyclable/recycled paper products and transition to bubble pack instead of clamshell packaging, reducing the amount of plastic used.

WireLogic kits began shipping in eco-friendly packaging mid-January 2008, with all products scheduled for the new packaging by the end of 2008.
