Yamaha CIS Products Presented In Yamaha Integrated Solutions Lab

LAS VEGAS, Nevada (June 8, 2016)—Yamaha Professional Audio will showcase its Commercial Installation Solutions (CIS) products in the Integrated Solutions Laboratory at booth ##C11116 during InfoComm 2016. Key technologies in the Lab include the MRX7-D processor that features the innovative Yamaha Speech Privacy system and Dugan Room Combining auto-mixer.  The Lab will also showcase the new MTX/MRX V2.2 editor software with many new improvements and features including a new Delay Matrix component, Effects unit, and improved wiring components, just to name a few.

The Yamaha DCH8 will also be featured in the Lab. Launched at ISE and shown at NAMM, the DCH8 is a Digital Controller Hub that allows control lines for up to eight DCP Series Digital Control Panel units to be connected to a Yamaha MRX7-D signal processor or MTX Series matrix processor over a star topology.

The Lab will also feature the new MA2120 and PA2120 durable power amplifiers that are ideal for configuring simple, small to mid-sized installations providing easy setup without the use of computers. Both models support low impedance (120W x2ch @4Ω/100W x2ch @3Ω, 8Ω selectable) as well as high impedance (120W x2ch/200W x1ch, 70V/100V selectable) speaker systems. Both models are equipped with highly efficient Class-D amplifiers and intelligent protection features in the power supply and amplifier unit to ensure safe, worry-free operation. The new models have been certified by ENERGY STAR, the internationally recognized standard of environmentally friendly equipment and facilities, and also qualify as Yamaha Eco Products.

Dante networking and demonstration of the new SWP1 network switches will also take place in the Lab. The advanced network SWP1 Series of L2 gigabit network switches have been designed specifically for sound installation and live sound networking, with simple DIP switch Dante optimization and comprehensive graphical interfacing via Windows application.

All around the Yamaha Integrated Solutions Lab, attendees will hear the new VXS Series F models that feature a more compact enclosure design and offering additional flexibility for varying installation environments. An attractive elegantly curved form that functions effortlessly in restaurants, cafes, or retail store interiors, the speakers have also been tuned specifically to deliver the highest quality music playback. The compact, full-range speaker unit can project to a wide, consistent coverage area even at low volume levels.

Yamaha audio system experts and Dante specialists will be on hand to share system formulas and discuss networking strategies.
