11th Annual Jason Perlman Memorial Golf Tournament Set

Feb 26, 2007 5:01 PM

Join the NSCA Education Foundation to celebrate eleven years of golf and giving. This year’s event will be held at MetroWest Golf Club in Orlando, Florida on March 14, 2007. The Robert Trent Jones Sr. designed golf course, a masterpiece of traditional golf course architecture, provides a fair, yet demanding challenge to make a pleasurable golf experience for players of all skill levels.

In conjunction with the NSCA Expo, industry golfers will have the opportunity to network, enjoy a round of golf, win a number of prizes (including a new car), or compete for the coveted “Perlman Cup.” Proceeds from the event support industry education and the local chapter of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

“The tournament is always a great event. We invite all of our industry friends to come out and join us for a day of golf and fun before the opening of the show,” says Mark Tracy, director of marketing for the tournament’s founding sponsor, Middle Atlantic Products.

“The tournament will provide two charities – one dedicated to advancing the A/V industry, the other to improving the health of our children – with a platform from which to raise money and awareness,” says Scott Dhaenens, NSCA Education Foundation Board member and vice president of market development, AMX AutoPatch Group. “We are happy to support an event that not only benefits these worthwhile causes, but also creates a fun and memorable experience for participants, volunteers and spectators alike.”

Sponsors of the event include Middle Atlantic Products, AMX AutoPatch Group; Sound & Video Contractor magazine; QSC Audio Products, Inc.; Herman Procurement and Logistics; Shure Incorporated; and Belden CDT Electronics Division. To register, visit www.nscaexpo.org or call 800.446.6722.

Come a day before NSCA Expo to network with key industry leaders, support industry education initiatives, and benefit the research of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
