InfoComm International announced that Marthin De Beer, senior vice president of Cisco’s Emerging Technologies Business Group, will be delivering a keynote address at InfoComm 2010. InfoComm 2010 will showcase integrated display, projection, audio, conferencing, lighting and staging, and digital signage and communications system solutions June 9-11, 2010, at the Las Vegas Convention Center. The speech will take place June 8 at the Las Vegas Hilton.

De Beer’s address, “Video Propels Next Generation Collaboration,” will cover how leveraging video as the means to collaborate and share information on any device, any place, anywhere, anytime gives businesses competitive and cost-saving advantages. In his keynote presentation, De Beer will spell out Cisco’s video vision and strategy.

Cisco’s Emerging Technologies Business Group developed innovative and leading-edge technologies such as Cisco TelePresence, TelePresence Exchange Services, Digital Media Systems, Media Processing, Video Surveillance Systems, and Converged Building Systems. De Beer is also responsible for the newly formed Cisco’s Smart Grid business unit and is heading the Smart Grid initiative at Cisco.
