These new switching devices, along with their already extensive line of cabling, wall plates and other connectivity products positon Covid, Inc. as an overall provider of complete signal management solutions.
The SH4M-110 is a multi-format A/V switch with inputs that include (2) HDMI, (1) VGA, (1) Display Port to a single HDMI output. The SH4M-110 supports multiple switching modes, has a built-in audio de-embedder and is able to be controlled through RS232 commands and/or contact closure. The unit also supports Talley feedback for remote mounting and integration into control panels. Status LEDs for all connections are conveniently located on the front panel of this device. “This new switching device allows us to be able to offer our customers an even more complete signal management package than we had in the past. You can now pair this new switching device with any of our already popular cables and wall plate products for an all-in-one signal management solution,” says Norm Carson, President of Covid, Inc. Additionally, Covid now offers a similar device with HDBaseT output up to 70m (230ft.)
This other new product, the SB3M-B110 is a multi-format A/V switch with inputs that include HDMI, VGA, Display Port and 3.5mm analog stereo to a single HDBaseT output. The SB3M-B110 supports multiple switching modes, has a built-in audio embedder and offers webserver functionality to help quickly configure and troubleshoot any A/V system utilizing the device.
