Stampede to Host UK and European Summits to Leverage Growing and Expanding Market Opportunities

AMHERST, NEW YORK, September 1, 2017 — Citing economic forecasts that point to a continued and expanding recovery throughout most of the European Union zone, Stampede, the world’s largest value added distributor of integrated ProAV system solutions, today announced a Fall 2017 series of sales and vendor summits that will take place next month in Munich and London. The goal of the summits, according to Stampede President & COO Kevin Kelly, is to provide sales teams, resellers, and end-user customers with the information, products, and support tools needed to capitalize on rapidly improving economic conditions throughout most of the region.

“After years of stagnation and uncertainty, the European Union is, in our opinion, poised to grow substantially over the next several years,” Kelly said today. “While the UK continues to face post-Brexit challenges, the EU is now growing on par with the United States. A recovery that began in Germany and Spain is now gaining traction in other member economies. In fact, in the Q2 period the zone grew by 2.5%, as compared to U.S. growth of 2.6% for the same period.”

According to Kelly, improving economic conditions dovetails with a growing understanding by vertical market customers that they need to find better ways to connect with and stay engaged with their customers. “Corporate, higher education, retail, and hospitality customers in particular are leveraging the power of integrated audiovisual experiences to achieve new and more powerful relationships with their young, completely tech-centric consumers. Our customers understand that if they don’t do this, they risk becoming irrelevant to their own customers.”

The Stampede Summit Series kicks off in Munich, Germany on September 23, 2017 at the Sheraton Munich Arabellapark Hotel with a two-day planning Sales Summit involving Stampede’s entire UK and European sales management team. “We will emerge from this intensive two-day session with our 2018 goals and objectives defined, our strategies set, and the outline of our channel specific promotion programs well underway,” Kelly emphasized. “There will also be a good amount of team and skill building, training, and recreation. This will really serve as the launch of our 2018 sales and marketing initiatives and will prepare everyone for a strong ISE in February.”

From Munich, the Stampede team travels to the London metropolitan area on Monday, September 25th for a two-day combined Stampede Vendor Summit and Big Book of AV Tour & Conference Series event at the Radisson Blue Edwardian Heathrow Hotel. The Vendor Summit will feature a mix of business presentations and panel discussions and wrap-up with a Vendor Appreciation Party that will set the tone for the upcoming year.

On Tuesday, September 26th, the London venue converts into the first stop of the Fall 2017 UK and European Big Book of AV Tour & Conference Series. A dealer panel discussion focused on emerging trends and ways to leverage them will kick-off the day at 9:00AM. From 10:00AM to 14:00 the vendor exhibit area will open for resellers and their customers to see the latest offerings from leading exhibitors in every major product category — including Stampede’s largest exhibit of drones ever staged in the UK that includes a live Drone Cage for attendees to demo specific drone models. The afternoon kicks into a higher gear at 14:00 when a series of pre-scheduled 1:1 power sessions takes place that connects individual resellers with manufacturers to discuss specific individual needs. The second day concludes with a networking cocktail reception and Power Up Dinner designed to send attendees off to a Q4 of continued sales growth.

“There has never been a better time in our history to capitalize on a rising economic tide and a generational shift in consumers that is driving demand for integrated audiovisual experiences that are compelling and immersive,” Kelly concluded. “These European summits will help to make sure that Stampede’s entire sales team is poised to help partner vendors and resellers profit from improving economic times.”
