Mitsubishi WD390U-EST

Mitsubishi Electric has introduced the WD390U-EST projector, a cloud projector. The WD390U-EST uses its built-in, thin client function to serve as a dynamic display device. Users log onto their network and begin displaying content using a Bluetooth-capable keyboard and mouse, whether from a local server, the Internet, or the cloud, giving users access to files through the projector itself. Users can use a mobile device such as a tablet or a smartphone to access, mirror, and control a computer that is connected to the projector and the same Wi-Fi network, and present files from many devices directly through the projector. The projector features 3,000 lumens of brightness as well as up to 6,000 hours of lamp life in low mode. The WD390U-EST can project a 70in. widescreen WXGA image from less than 23in. away. The projector offers HDMIT support as well as options for multiple video inputs. It has an RS-232 connector and a built-in RJ-45 input that offers plug-and-play connectivity with third-party remote management products Availability: March 2013 Price: $1,999
