WHAT I LIKE ABOUT IT: It is extremely easy to set up; it integrates well with Crestron and AMX controls; and with the presets, you are able to take all the guesswork out of setting up the audio for an automated mixing environment.
WHAT I WOULD CHANGE: While Lectrosonics’ LecNet2 is a competent software interface for control of the DM1612, I would also like to see Lectrosonics introduce its own touch panel for control of the unit.

MY RESULTS: For the Kingdom Camp and Conference Center is a very unique facility. Its auditorium is rented out and used by groups with very different levels of technical aptitude. Some groups are able to come in and use the large frame mixing console that is in place, but most have a very rudimentary knowledge of audio.
With the Lectrosonics DM1612 paired to a Crestron controller, they are able to simply bypass the large mixing console, push a preset, and all the audio levels are set for the event. The presets enable the end user to choose the style of music, speaker, full band, acoustic ensemble, movie, etc.—and all adjustments are made automatically.
