Analog Way Rolls Out Mixer/Switcher and Controller
Analog Way has released two new products in its Seamless Switchers and Consoles ranges. The Opus is a multi-layer, high-resolution mixer/seamless switcher with three scalers. The Orchestra is an intuitive and ergonomic remote controller.

Analog Way has released two new products in its Seamless Switchers and Consoles ranges. The Opus is a multi-layer, high-resolution mixer/seamless switcher with three scalers. The Orchestra is an intuitive and ergonomic remote controller.
Opus features a universal analog and digital input/output and full high-resolution digital processing. The mixer can adapt particularly well to rental-and-staging and high-end installations, according to the company, offering several live effects such as keying and moving PIP, as well as two operation modes: Multi-Layer Mixer and 12×2 Seamless Sync Matrix.
In Multi-Layer Mixer Mode, Opus uses one output as a preview and the other-the main output-for the audience. Because of its full frame and logo memory, Opus can display up to six layers: three live sources, one frame, and two logos. In Seamless Synch Matrix Mode, Opus offers a 12×2 scaled sync matrix with “true seamless switching.” The switch between any of the 12 inputs can be in-cut or fade and synchronized on the two outputs.
Orchestra
Opus offers up to 12 inputs, including two fitted with digital DVI and two fitted with SDI. SDI is compatible with SD and HDTV formats, as is DVI, which also offers computer formats. With state-of-the-art digital processing, the Opus outputs digital and analog signals in DVI and VGA (RGBHV) simultaneously with a selection of many formats from HDTV to computer 2K.
The Orchestra remote controller is designed to manage several switchers plus the Opus system independently or simultaneously, either as stand-alone boxes or in any combination, as in soft-edge blending.
Orchestra offers the control of matrixes in order to multiply the number of sources, no matter what input number the switcher provides. Once connected to one of Analog Way’s switchers, Orchestra can control up to six independent screen configurations in different locations and store up to 64 presets per screen configuration. Orchestra controls all of the effects and functionalities of the Analog Way Di-VentiX II and the Opus.
