Mitsubishi Digital Electronics America announces its latest 1080p home theater projector, the HC6000. Enhancing its HC5000 model with Texas Instruments’ BrilliantColor upgrade for richer colors and greater performance in clear high-definition resolution, the new HC6000 offers a contrast ratio of 12,000:1. According to the company, an improved auto iris function allows quicker light to black image adjustment. In addition, the unit includes Silicon Optix’s Reon processing chip internally, resulting in a small, efficient form factor.
