Expanding its FreeSpace line, Bose introduces the DS 100SE surface-mount and DS 100F flush-mount loudspeakers. On the DS 100SE model, two Twiddler drivers in a proprietary Articulated Array loudspeaker design can be rotated to maintain a side (180 degree) dispersion pattern whether the unit is mounted horizontally or vertically. This unit can be mounted on walls at heights up to 30 feet. A thumbwheel enables tap settings to be adjusted before, during, or after installation. The DS 100F can be flush- or pendant-mounted in ceilings up to 30 feet high. The 100SE, when used with optional junction boxes, and the DS 100F meet numerous standards for combination music and evacuation systems. Price: N/A.
