Kramer’s Active Input Indication reporting function causes each input button to light up when an active signal is detected at the input connector. A green light means an SDI signal is detected; a blue light indicates an HD-SDI signal. The unit also includes the company’s re-Klocking technology, which allows the switcher to provide signal reclocking and equalization for each input to compensate for possible long cable runs. The switcher also has a looping genlock input, so when a genlock signal is provided, the unit can perform clean vertical interval switching.
