Projectiondesign

’s FR12 Remote Light Source series of DLP projectors for the first time. With these new projectors, available in WUXGA, 1080p, and SXGA+ resolutions, Projectiondesign removed the light source, including lamp and colorwheels, from the projector itself so they could be relocated in a rack-mounted enclosure up to 100 feet away. The goal is to reduce maintenance, increase installation flexibility, and create a near-silent projector. Light travels through a specially designed, liquid-filled cable, outputting up to 3,300 lumens at a contrast ratio up to 4,000:1. In other ways, it’s a familiar projector, with support for network-based management and HDMI 1.3a, DVI-D (both with HDCP), Component, and S-video inputs. 888-588-1024.
