tvONE has released the 1T-VS-668 universal video scaler/switcher. The 1T-VS-668 video scaler is a commercial switcher/scaler with versatile format conversion and multi-output routing capability. Its fully scalable video inputs include HDMI, DVI (via DVI-to-HDMI adapter), analog RGB via HD-15 connectors, analog YPbPr or 480i/576i YUV component, and composite video. To ensure lip sync capabilities, both digital and analog audio processing is supported with audio delays of up to 150 milliseconds. Eight analog stereo and inputs can be selected for embedding into the HDMI outputs and separate coaxial digital and stereo audio outputs are also provided. The 1T-VS-668 handles input and output resolutions up to 1080p/WUXGA, analog-to-digital conversion, and digital-to-analog conversion, allowing a wide range of AV signals to be displayed on a HDMI or VGA display. The HDMI is HDCPcompliant and is compatible with HDMI v1.3 standards. Control is via the front-panel joystick and buttons, infrared remote, or RS-232 interface.
