Hall Research releases the SC-VGA-2B, a VGA/HDTV video processor that allows any PC (VGA) or HDTV (YPbPr) video signal to be scaled up or down to any PC or HDTV resolution or format. The video processor combines the functions of a video splitter, scaler, scan converter, and bi-directional PC-to-HDTV format transformer. Additionally, the SC-VGA-2B includes a video loop output, so the original video input is available for display on a local monitor. The processed video output is user-definable to be either RGBHC (VGA) or YPbPr (component video). The output is easily configured to match the native resolution of virtually any display—RGB (from VGA to WUXGA), or HDTV (from 480p to 1080p). Price: $385
