Peavey Impulse 261
Peavey has announced the Impulse 261, a high-output, two-way permanent installation loudspeaker system. The Impulse 261 features two 6.5in. woofers and a 1in. neodymium-loaded, titanium dome tweeter mounted on a waveguide. The loudspeaker is protected from overload by independent overload protection for the woofer and the tweeter. The Impulse 261 features an 8-ohm thru output (150W continuous, 300W program, 600W peak). Connection is via a locking Euro connector with screw terminals. The loudspeaker is housed in a vented cabinet with a perforated, powder-coated metal grille and a weather-resistant design.
