Smart-AVI has released a new HDMI signal extender that is capable of transmitting 1080p video and embedded audio 150ft. over Cat-6 to up to three remote monitors and one local display for realtime monitoring. Smart-AVI’s HDX-400 is a dynamic signal extension unit that uses inexpensive Cat-6 STP cabling to transmit high-definition video signals with embedded sound to up to three remote monitors 150ft. away. This source signal can come from a gaming console, DVD player, Blu-ray player, or any other HDMI device that outputs high-resolution video. In addition, the HDX-400 supports a local display for realtime monitoring.
