The Yamaha PM5D-EX digital console power package—featured at InfoComm 08—is a live sound and recording system that combines a Yamaha PM5D digital mixing console with a DSP5D expander, doubling the I/O and processing capacity of two PM5D consoles but controlled from a single surface. The system features 96 mono-input and 16 stereo-input channels in a very flexible configuration. It features 96kHz processing throughout for outstanding sound and response, and it provides further flexibility by providing a choice of formats for direct multichannel or stereo feeds to a digital audio workstation system.
