The new Altinex DIGI Sniffer features a six LED bar graph that conveniently shows the strength of the video signal connected to the device. The perfect tool for testing all HDMI compliant video sources and cables, the DIGI Sniffer monitors the digital video signal and determines the degradation level. The stronger the signal, the more LEDs are illuminated. The DIGI Sniffer works with both HDCP (High-Bandwidth Digital Content Protection) and non-HDCP signals.
Designed to conveniently fit in one’s pocket, the new Altinex DIGI Sniffer features auto power control (shut-off) and will only turn on when touched from both sides—ensuring extended battery life for easy operation. The unit engages when one’s thumb and index finger make contact with the metal stud on each side of the unit. By simply connecting the HDMI cable to the unit, the on-board LED’s will then display signal strength.
