JVC’s DLA-HD100 D-ILA projector touts a native contrast ratio of 30,000:1. The 1080p projector employs an optical engine and three 0.7in. HD D-ILA devices that are said to reduce stray light caused by the dispersion and diffraction of reflected light. JVC reduced the gaps between pixels to decrease orientation irregularities.
The projector also packs two HDMI 1.3 inputs and offers improved color rendition, a motorized Fujinon 2x zoom lens, and customized onscreen gamma control. Installers can perform manual gamma adjustment via the supplied remote control and an onscreen display, including individual adjustment of primary RGB colors.
The 1080p projector will be sold by JVC’s consumer and professional groups.
