Panasonic’s TH-65PX600 1080p Display Offers More Colors

The only 1080p TV in Panasonic’s lineup, the 65in. TH-65PX600 plasma boasts 29 billion colors. That’s up from 8.6 billion on the previous generation of Panasonic plasma displays. Contrast ratio is given as 10,000:1, compared with 3000:1 on last year’s models.

Extras include CableCard, TV Guide Onscreen, a PC input, and an SD memory card slot for viewing digital images, which can be shown in full multi-megapixel resolution on the 1920x1080p screen.

HDMI inputs feature Panasonic’s EZ-Synch Control function for single-run connections to compatible AV devices including camcorders and Panasonic’s Blu-ray disc player. NTSC/ATSC/QAM tuners are built in.
