National Guardian Security Services a leading provider of electronic security services to multi-location businesses throughout the United States and Canada, has announced the acquisition of TVR Service Systems & Engineering based in Auburn, Calif. The acquisition provides further expansion of National Guardian’s client base and geographic footprint.

TVR was founded in 1974 by Bob McAllen, and provides electronic security installation and service to commercial and residential customers in Northern California. The business originally was established as an alarm dealer, and subsequently worked with National Guardian Security Services Corp. from 1986 to 1995. TVR will serve as National Guardian’s base of operations in Northern California, increasing the Company’s national presence and strengthening National Guardian’s overall service capabilities in that region.

The acquisition reflects National Guardian’s strategy to enhance its presence in areas where significant national account installations, service, and support are required. “Acquisitions such as TVR increase our geographic reach and service capabilities, while also allowing us to accelerate our growth plans, including the rollout of new services,” said George Flagg, President of National Guardian. “We are pleased to welcome TVR’s employees and customers to National Guardian, and we look forward to the expanding opportunities that exist in California.”
