Former TOA Employee Dies
Danny Speegle died at the age of 69 of cancer on September 26. He served in the U.S. Navy aboard ship in the Persian Gulf during the Suez Canal crisis. Speegle’s early career in broadcasting was spent at KASE in Austin, Texas, and KPRC and KODA in Houston. A 35-year career in the commercial and industrial sound and electronics industry was spent as the national marketing manager for TOA Electronics and the owner of manufacturer’s representative sales and distributing companies.
