In this edition, SVC contributing editor Bennett Liles talks with Aidan Williams, chief technical officer for Audinate in Sydney, Australia, the company behind the development and marketing for Dante, a relatively new digital audio networking technology. Williams reveals the inner workings of Dante and how the company and the idea came about. He also notes the differences between Dante, CobraNet, and Ethersound in the way they are implemented and controlled. Also explored is the way in which Audinate’s Zen technology makes setup easier.
