In this edition, SVC contributing editor Bennett Liles talks with Matt Schwartz of Unity Pro AV, a systems integration company in Jackson, Mo., about the firm’s recent installation of a total audio system upgrade at the First Baptist Church of Poplar Bluff. Schwartz outlines how the job was done and how large lifts were used for hanging loudspeaker arrays even with existing pews blocking a large area of the sanctuary floor. Acoustics were handled first with 93 acoustic panels and then a Renkus-Heinz loudspeaker array and a Yamaha M7CL-48 mixer were installed.
