Recognizing the Outstanding Products Exhibited at the 2019 InfoComm Show

These awards recognize outstanding products exhibited at the 2019 InfoComm Show. Winners were selected from more than 200 submitted entries by a panel of professional users and editors, who demo’ed and/or viewed the entries on the show floor. Judges evaluated the products against a set of criteria including perceived ease of use, installation, and maintenance; performance versus the category standard; richness and relevance of the feature set; network friendliness; versatility; value/ROI; and anticipated reliability. Congratulations to all the designers, engineers, and decision-makers involved with these products.

AMX // Acendo Core Zoom Meeting Integration

The AMX Acendo Core Collaboration System is now ready to support and natively run the Zoom Meetings app to instantly launch one-touch Zoom Meetings. By giving enterprise customers the choice of using Zoom Meetings, Skype for Business and other web conferencing and meeting solutions, users can simplify meetings, regardless of platform. Zoom Meetings offers users video conferencing and messaging to record meetings locally or to the cloud, with searchable transcripts. Multiple participants can share screens simultaneously and co-annotate for a more interactive meeting. “This is a very nicely packaged system for videoconferencing. It is especially well-suited for small conference rooms,” said the judges.

Analog Way // LivePremier 4K/8K Live Switchers

LivePremier is a full range of modular and scalable 4K/8K multi-screen presentation systems and videowall processors supporting presentation for high-end staging and premium system integration. The LivePremier Aquilon is a “very capable, powerful and cool high-end video switcher,” as the judges described it, combining industrial-grade reliability, real-time 10/12-bit 4:4:4 video processing power and pure 4K60p on each input and output with ultra-low latency. In its largest chassis configuration, LivePremier Aquilon offers up to 24 inputs and 20 outputs and up to 24 4K freely assignable layers. Field-replaceable I/O connector modules allow connectivity to a variety of formats, including HDMI2.0, DP1.2, 12G-SDI and future potential formats such as single-cable 8K and IPTV transports. Up to 64 channels of audio can be de-embedded from video sources, routed directly to a Dante network and re-embedded from external audio processor to send to display, recording device, or streaming.

Ashly Audio // mXa-1502 Mixer Amp

Ashly Audio’s new mXa-1502 Mixer Amp is an integrated product bringing together four zones of mixing and DSP, plus 2 x 150W of power and programmable mic preamps and a complete DSP suite—all made simple in a single, compact, elegant rack-mountable unit. The mXa-1502 is primed to help integrators win more clients among the small- and medium-sized business sectors of retail, hospitality, and house of worship. “The unit is ideal for small restaurant, and store spaces with limited sources, zones and controls,” said the judges. Integrators can easily perform system configuration and deliver long-term assistance thanks to the mixer amp’s built-in web server, which offers a web-based control platform. If an end user requires assistance, an integrator can first login to the controls remotely online before rolling a truck out to the site.

Audio-Technica // ATUC-IR Infrared Discussion System

The ATUC-IR Hybrid Infrared Discussion System features easy-to-use, plug-and-play functionality, and the use of both infrared and wired discussion units. The hybrid system offers reliable, clear and intelligible communication to increase meeting efficiency and effectiveness, while providing 24-bit/48kHz uncompressed digital audio for naturalsounding voice reproduction, along with a 12-band feedback suppressor that enables higher volume levels. “One of the best features,” the judges point out, “is the ability to pick which IR channels to use.”

Bosch // PAVIRO Public Address Voice Evac System

PAVIRO is a unique, high-quality public address and EN 54-certified voice evacuation system that integrates with additional equipment to support high-resolution music distribution, live paging and pre-programmed messages across as many as 984 loudspeaker zones. Intelligent matrix switching and a small number of highly flexible system components—including a single amplifier model—simplify design and installation. Judges liked that PAVIRO also integrates with digital signage players for a fuller experience. Equipped with the optional Dante network interface module (OM-1), it is possible to create a 16-channel Dante audio network among the individual controllers using standard Ethernet connections and components.

ClearOne // Beamforming Mic Array Ceiling Tile

ClearOne’s patented Beamforming Microphone Array Ceiling Tile carries built-in acoustic echo cancellation, noise cancellation, and beam selection that eliminates the need for per-beam processing in a DSP mixer. The integrated features of the BMA CT can significantly reduce system design complexity, simplify installation, streamline configuration and programming, consume less rack space, and lower cost. It also includes a built in 2×10 Watt power amplifier to conveniently drive loudspeakers. The judges liked the feature set as well: “The beamforming ceiling tile mic connects via a CAT-6 cable to the DSP unit,” judges note. “Up to three mics can be daisy chained in three zones or even three separate rooms. The built-in amplifier and on-board LED indicators definitely add to ease of integration in many applications.”

Crestron // Network AV Decoder (DM-NVX-D80-IoAV)

The Crestron DM-NVX-D80-IoAV network AV decoder is an all-new solution that instantly transforms a display into a native DM NVX endpoint. The DM NVX decoder plugs into the OPS (Open Pluggable Specification) port and is powered by the display, eliminating the need for messy cables and cumbersome power modules allowing displays to be flush mounted on the wall wherever you want. DMNVX-D80-IoAV greatly simplifies installation and eliminates programming. With its ability to integrate with Crestron XiO Cloud, DM-NVX-D80-IoAV allows system managers to infinitely control each display from one centralized location. DM NVX offers the densest image with the finest detail-as good as direct source. From the judges: “The DM-NVX-D80-IoAV is a game-changer because it connects display manufacturers to AV over IP and DM-NVX.”

Crestron // Flex UC-M130-T System

The Crestron Flex UC-M130 T system provides a complete video conference room solution for use with the Microsoft Teams intelligent communications platform. It supports a single video display, and features the Crestron Mercury Tabletop UC Audio Conference Console, which comprises a high performance, full duplex conferencing speakerphone and touch screen controller in one tabletop device. Crestron Flex transforms any meeting room, huddle space, or executive office into a collaboration space, enabling people to work together and share content irrespective of location. Intuitive operation, full duplex wideband audio, and full motion HD video enhance comfort and productivity for participants. “The Flex UC-M130 T video conferencing system will be an ‘easy sell’ with its ease-of-use and feature rich UX,” according to one judge. Occupancy detection using a patent pending combination of motion and voice activity provides several benefits. Judges thought that “integrators will appreciate the integrated 360 quad microphone array that is able to capture every seat at the table.”

d&b audiotechnik // A-Series

The new d&b A-Series introduces a unique loudspeaker concept that sees advanced waveguide design combined with d&b enabling technologies. With flexible splay angles, this evolutionary system addresses a wide range of medium size applications where the highest levels of coverage flexibility is paramount without sacrificing audio quality. “The speaker sounded great and transparent,” said the judges. Realizing all the adaptability of a point source cluster with the extensive control options of a d&b line array, the system comprises the AL60 and AL90 loudspeakers, with ALi60 and ALi90 offering cabinets designed specifically for permanent installation.

DVIGear // DisplayNet DN-150 Series

The new DisplayNet DN-150 Series represents a breakthrough in performance and value for IP-based AV signal distribution. Starting at under $1,000 per endpoint, the DN-150 Series supports signals with resolutions of up to 4K/60p (4:4:4) with 8-bit color, or 4K/60p (4:2:2) with 10 or 12-bit color. Based on the latest SDVoE standard, these units provide broad scalability, fast switching with zero frame latency and zero artifact image quality. They also are fully interoperable with all SDVoE-compatible products, including the award-winning DisplayNet DN-200 Series. The DN-150 Series relies on the intuitive DisplayNet Manager user-interface that makes set-up and maintenance of these units incredibly fast and easy. “When used with DVIGear’s control software, this allows ease of control and set-up,” the judges note. “It’s a good sturdy SDVoE solution.”

Epson // Moverio Assist Remote Assist Solution

Responding to demands to reduce installation errors and rework, and for a hands-free remote support solution, Epson Moverio Assist is an affordable, easy-to-use, “see-what-I-see” remote assistance and inspection solution. It utilizes Moverio smart glasses for pre- and post-installation inspections as well as difficult repairs or work tasks at customer sites. By enabling realtime video collaboration between remote experts and on-site AV installers, Moverio Assist helps make site inspections, installations and/or complex repairs quicker and with fewer mistakes, leading to increased productivity, improved customer satisfaction and reduced travel costs. Judges found the product both ingenious and relevant. “This very cool form factor of eyewear has numerous applications including product support and visual ADA.”

Epson America // Epson Pro L10 Series Laser Projectors

The Pro L10 Series are Epson’s most compact interchangeable-lens laser projectors. The series feature 4K enhancement, HDBaseT connectivity, and wide lens shift designed to meet growing projection needs in corporate, education and live event markets. “This is a compact yet full featured video projector, with great lens selection,” confirmed the judges. Compatible with 11 optional powered lenses, including a .35 throw-ratio ultra-short-throw lens with zero offset, the Pro L10 Series offer built-in image warping, edge blending, overlay shape and color filters, playlists and free software for multi-projector setup. The new projectors produce detailed, high-contrast images and a Bt.709 color space for more realistic images and easier to read presentations. Leveraging a minimalist, discreet design and quiet fan noise, Epson’s Pro L10 Series offer flexible installation and diverse connectivity to support immersive consumer experiences even in the most demanding environments.

Hall Research // HD-AUD-IO All-in-One HDMI Audio Manager

The HD-AUD-IO is an all-in-one HDMI audio manager capable of embedding and de-embedding audio to and from an HDMI video signal. It’s a “handy tool” for environments where the audio path follows a different path than the video, such as sports bars, houses of worship, and retail stores. “What a compact, simple and cost-effective solution,” judges observed. The HDMI input audio signal simultaneously extracts to both 2-channel L/R analog and Digital SPDIF (TOSLINK). With analog and digital audio inputs can select which audio to embed in the HDMI output. It can be the same as the original HDMI audio (pass-thru), SPDIF digital, or 3.5mm L/R analog. Advanced EDID management allows users to control the video portion as well as the audio part of the EDID. It has a video bandwidth of 18 Gbps and supported resolutions up to 4K @ 60 Hz 4:4:4 with HDR. It supports HDCP 2.2 as well as HDCP 1.4. RS-232 controllable either through one of Hall Research’s control systems or an outside third-party provider.

IHSE // Draco Ultra DP 240 Esports KVM extender

Alongside state-of-the-art extender technology for 4K resolutions, IHSE now zeros in on higher refresh rates to support esports and gamer demands with the Draco Ultra Gaming Extenders. For next-generation professional gamers demanding higher refresh rates—up to 240Hz at full 1080p resolutions. For competition gaming stations where computers need to be located at distances that exceed the reach of copper cables, these KVM display management extenders can be used by gamers and esports players to make sure they will continue to see sharper visuals during fast action game-play. Additionally, moving the mouse will feel smoother compared to a more typical 60Hz display. Judges easily visualized it in esports or secure KVM applications.

Intevi // Digital Booking

Intevi provides solutions to simplify the management and optimization of the digital workplace. In partnership with Sharing Cloud and utilizing their Instant Booking platform, Intevi’s Digital Booking suite of products focuses on the challenges associated with the management and efficiency of both bookable spaces and hot desks (hoteling). To reserve a meeting room, the user has multiple options: Book from their mobile app, from within their preferred Calendar tool; from the web accessible Instant Booking portal; or from a physical device such as 10.1” or 3.5” RoomPads. For example, users can scan a QR Code on an available desk. Or they can book from a Global RoomPad kiosk which shows 3D floor maps, status of all rooms and desks (available or busy) and breadcrumb directions to get from the kiosk to any meeting room or desk in the building (or campus). The judges called Intevi “a smart scheduling system with a rich feature set … Wayfinding via digital signage is a bonus.”

Kramer // VIA Connect PLUS

VIA Connect PLUS provides simultaneous wired and wireless presentation and collaboration for a variety of spaces with no need for any additional hardware. This cost-effective solution includes all the benefits of VIA Connect PRO together with an HDMI input. With any laptop or mobile device, meeting participants can display or stream full uninterrupted HD video (up to 1080p60), images and documents, or share any size file. Latest additions to the software include the integration of Zoom and Bluejeans video conferencing software, as well as a new Digital Signage feature. “VIA Connect Plus is a good mid-line collaboration solution for conference rooms and huddle spaces,” the judges noted. “The key factor is that it is an app-less and dongle-less solution for sharing content wirelessly.”

LEA Professional // LEA Connect Series Amplifier

This Internet of Things (IOT) enabled, professional-grade amplifier family—the Connect Series is aimed for small to medium scale installations; these two and four-channel amps feature direct HiZ (70V or 100V) or LoZ selectable by channel. With three ways to connect, users can engage the built in Wi-Fi access point, connect to the venue’s Wi-Fi, or use the FAST Ethernet to connect to any local area network via Cat 5 or Cat 6 cable. The Connect Series also features analog inputs, Dante inputs and external I/O control for remote on/off and fault monitoring. “The IP control capabilities and the way it can connect to the network in different ways makes this line of amplifiers a good solution for live events and traveling shows as well,” judges concluded.

Lyntec // Xtend Power Control Series

The LynTec new Xtend Power Control (XPC) Series remote relay modules extend the reach of its relay panels and motorized circuit breakers. “Remote control circuit breakers built as tough as a tank,” judges pronounced. “It’s sequential AC power control at its best.”

The series solves the expensive and complex challenge of controlling circuits that are being fed from a panel on the other side of the venue. They can use one or more of the XPC remote relay options to tie their equipment into the existing RPC controller in their motorized circuit breaker panel, an RPCR electrical relay panel, or NPAC rack-mounted relay panel without having to bring their electricity all the way back to that panel. Each module can be conveniently placed in the rack, on rigging, behind line arrays, or anywhere. Each module contains an electrical connection, a power plug, and an Ethernet port. Integration is simple and straightforward: Connect the module to a power source and the network, and then plug in the equipment that needs power control. Using LynTec’s IP-based GUI, users can set up and customize the control and sequencing for each device.

Matrox // Monarch EDGE 4K/multi-HD encoder

The Matrox Monarch EDGE is a multi-channel, low-latency, low-bitrate encoder equipped with SDI and SMPTE ST 2110 connections. Our judges called it “a streaming Swiss army knife.” This low-power, 4K-capable appliance encodes UHD feeds up to 3840×2160 50/60 fps for webcasting workflows, and can also serve as a remote feed encoder for REMI productions, whether produced in the cloud or with in-house equipment. Its small form factor, quad HD I/O design allows it to encode independent high-density feeds for broadcast contribution in 4:2:2 10-bit quality.

Matrox Graphics // QuadHead2Go multi-monitor controllers

Matrox brings decades of expertise in multi-display solutions to this most recent breakthrough. It can drive four displays of any configuration at any dimension from one signal from any source, either as a system-independent appliance or in single-slot card forms. On-device buttons and pre-set configurations support an out-of-the-box, trouble-free installation experience. The included Matrox PowerWall software offers an intuitive way to configure the latest emerging, artistic, and innovative video walls. Supports Full HD displays from a single 4Kp60 video signal at RGB 8:8:8 and YUV 4:4:4. Each output can have its own resolution, be independently rotated (90, 180, and 270 degrees), cropped, upscaled, downscaled, and positioned anywhere, and controlled and updated from anywhere on the LAN. The controllers are compatible with professional-grade graphics cards with native DisplayPort 1.2 support—no adapter required. “It’s priced very competitively to provide a good solution for video walls up to four displays,” noted the judges.

Meyer Sound // ULTRA-X40 Compact Loudspeaker

“As always Meyer makes a product to defy the competition,” observed the judges. This new compact loudspeaker series features a concentric driver configuration, new amplifier and processor technologies drawn from the LEO Family of line array loudspeakers, a rotatable horn, a remarkable power-to-size/weight ratio, and a wide selection of rigging options. Meyer based it on the LEO family design; the ULTRA-X40 employs a concentric driver configuration with dual 8-inch neodymium magnet cone drivers coupled to a low-mid waveguide surrounding the single 3-inch diaphragm high-frequency compression driver. It also incorporates a newly designed and highly efficient 3-channel class D amplifier that produces a total peak output power of 1950 W with a maximum sustained current draw of only 1.3 A.

Middle Atlantic // Premium+ PDU with RackLink

Middle Atlantic is building upon the award-winning, proven RackLink technology platform with the new Premium+ PDU with RackLink featuring a simplified UI with more control, more data and maximum security. Empowering integrators with the data to understand exactly what the system is doing, down to the individual outlet, RackLink is “a very well-organized approach to managing and controlling AC power at the AV rack level,” determined the judges. Available in horizontal and compact models, the new solution provides superior protection with under/over voltage, filtering, industry- leading surge detection and protection with Middle Atlantic’s patented Series Protection. In addition, it provides accurate power monitoring and logging for current, voltage, watts, as well as capabilities to monitor the system to maintain optimal environmental conditions inside the rack in real time. Up to 32 individual sensors that can connect to a single unit.

NEC // LED-FA015I2-137 Direct View LED Display

This 137” Full HD kit is built with NEC’s 1.58mm LED-FA015i2 module designed for what demonstrated as vibrant and colorful content visualization—ideal for viewing from 3 to 8 feet away. The FA Series is engineered with multicolor LEDs that deliver improved contrast, uniformity and viewing angles and have no external cables required for installation. The FA015i2 provides full HD (1920×1080) resolution with a refresh rate of greater than or equal to 2880Hz. It also features built in data and power redundancy ensuring the display remains operational in the event of a single controller of power supply failure. Our judges called this “critical for 24/7 operations.” Shallow depth (3.2” installed) and reduced weight allow for greater installation flexibility and also meet ADA requirements.

Nemal // Stadium-4 Plenum Cable System

Nemal positions its new Stadium-4 Plenum Cable System as a leap forward in performance and ease of installation for all multi-camera HDTV/ SMPTE cable installations. Significantly, it brings to the market the ability to install HD camera systems in stadiums, houses of worship, and other venues requiring plenum-rated cable without specialized tooling or training. It also offers a substantially lower installed cost than any other currently available alternative. Nemal Stadium-4 plenum cable connects up to 4 HDTV cameras over 1000 meters or more, using a single flexible UL plenum rated cable. “A simple cable system that is well-designed for its purpose,” rate the judges.

Powersoft // Mezzo

Mezzo consists of eight amplifier models, each offering different power and connectivity options, designed for corporate, hospitality and educational environments. From the judges: “Mezzo is an impressive self-configuring amplifier system.” It delivers impressive power and flexibility in a highly compact, Class-D technology design that is easy to install and operate.” It is simple to set up and can be monitored remotely, making it attractive to integrators seeking reduced installation times and more efficient deployment of A/V staff in the field.

Ross // pro-xi Workstation Integrator

This product allows users to simultaneously monitor and manage multiple computer systems, in real-time, from a single workstation, using one mouse and one keyboard. Control room operators are frequently overwhelmed by an increasing number of computer systems and an escalating amount of information. Finding and analyzing information, responding to alarms, and managing multiple systems is challenging and often chaotic. Ross designers envisioned the pro-xi Workstation Integrator as a revolution in the way operators access and interact with information. Operators can simultaneously view and control multiple, disparate computer systems on one integrated workstation. Key features allow operators to do the following: Focus on critical information with high-quality, scalable thumbnails and sub-windows. Re-position and re-size thumbnails and sub-windows for maximum efficiency. Access full, robust, virtual control from anywhere on the network. Operate one workstation while simultaneously monitoring other workstations on a single display. Create, save, and instantly recall up to 99 customizable layouts to meet multiple operators work requirements. When compared to similar products one judge said, “This is a very tight packed box, powerful product and displays well.”

Sharp // 4K Ultra-HD Interactive Displays

Judges had a simple response: “The 4K touch screen display with Android OS embedded is very cool!” Designed to show and tell in the digital age, the 85” Class (84 9/16” diagonal) PN-L851H, 75” Class (74 1/16” diagonal) PNL751H and 65” Class (64” diagonal) PN-L651H provide clarity to see small text and fine details in images. Features include: New panel technology with a pre-installed controller and built-in whiteboard, as well as wireless functionality. The panel has new optical technology that uses advanced opto-mechanics and signal process. Equipped with a built-in controller with IWB launcher, startup is immediate, with no need to hook up to a PC. Wireless LAN and Bluetooth compatibility allow connection to Windows and Android smartphones, tablets and computers. The Direct Drawing feature allows users to use the LCD monitor like a regular whiteboard, with a simple write-and-erase function. Screen captures can be saved as PDF files, either on internal storage or on external storage devices.

Shure // Microflex Advance MXA910 w/ IntelliMix

Judges found the built in DSP processing in a ceiling tile microphone to be impressive. “The ability to connect directly to a soft CODEC such as Zoom in a room sized up 30×30 feet makes this an excellent choice for lower cost conferencing. Mute sync for the LED indicator eliminates the need for a control system in a basic conference room for the budget-conscious end-user.” Onboard signal processing tools include acoustic echo cancellation, noise reduction, and automatic mixing. Aesthetically the tiles suit a range of rooms and provide a range of mounting options as well as simplified setup and configuration. The product design provides greater out-of-the box performance with less configuration time because of on-board IntelliMix algorithms and improved default lobe coverage positioning.

SiliconCore // EZ-HD Series Large Format Display

Specifically engineered to simplify the specification process of high-resolution LED displays for professional and corporate environments, the SiliconCore EZ-HD displays have been designed to be installed by two engineers in under three hours. Judges agree, “Impressive brightness in a new form factor that makes it easier to install. A nice balance between assembly time and modular pieces. You can fit a panel into a building without a forklift, without installing each board individually. The brightness of the screen is impressive.” Available in three fixed sizes, 110”, 130”, 165”, each display provides full HD resolution. The LED sections attach to an interlocking frame system which is easy to assemble and clicks into place. Front serviceable and measuring less than 4” (10cm) in depth, the display can be mounted onto any load bearing wall via standardized brackets. It also includes SiliconCore’s latest technology, LISA, which increases the durability of the LED display without affecting the brightness or color reproduction.

Sony // VPL-FHZ75 and VPL-FHZ70 Laser Projectors

One judge familiar with the history, observed that “Sony’s VPL-FHZ75 and VPL-FHZ70 takes laser projection to a whole new and intelligent level and builds off of Sony’s strong legacy in laser projectors.” The new models cater to the increased market demand for immersive and high brightness projection in midsize environments such as schools, corporations, churches, museums, and entertainment installations. With WUXGA resolution and color light output of 6500lm and 5500lm respectively, the VPL-FHZ75 and VPL-FHZ70 use a newly-developed 0.76-inch LCD panel with an incorporated optical compensator to enhance brightness, vibrancy, and contrast, displaying true blacks and accurate-to-life color reproduction. The projectors also draft of Sony’s “Reality Creation” technology, developed for BRAVIA displays and high-end home theater projectors to enhance clarity without increasing noise. Both models come with an innovative ‘intelligent setting’ feature; the four pre-set modes including meeting/classrooms, museums, entertainment venues, and multi-screen setups. “Integrators and end users are going to love the ‘intelligent setting’ which simplifies the installation process by automatically selecting the best configuration based on the projectors environment,” confirmed the judges.

SnapAV // WattBox Ultra-Compact IP Power Outlets

The WattBox 150 provides IP power and remote monitoring in the smallest form factor in the industry. This budget-friendly UL listed, single-controlled bank with two outlets is designed to stop service calls with OvrC, SnapAV’s free remote management and servicing system. Through the OvrC dashboard, you can reboot and troubleshoot devices remotely, eliminating unnecessary truck rolls. Scheduling features, notifications, and an end-user app make WattBox the ultimate power solution for integrators. From the judges: “Network controlled power strips and modules are only as good as the control backbone and the WattBox system has a robust control software that allows rebooting of each power port independently via the dashboard and also can integrate with manufactures control to assist with remote service and troubleshooting, saving service costs.”

Starin // D7 from DTEN

Judges were impressed to observe the DTEN D7 workflow for Zoom rooms. “The D7 is loaded as Zoom Room 1 box; the 16 mics and integrated HD camera seamlessly integrate with the display providing a superior experience for the near and far end during ZOOM calls.” As a plug-and-play solution, the product includes all the core components that enable a frictionless video conferencing experience powered by Zoom Rooms for Touch. Out of the box, it requires no software configuration or IT support integration. “The D7 is aggressively priced so end-users can outfit multiple rooms for the price of other company touch screen collaboration solutions,” observed the judges.

tvOne // CORIOview Multi-Window Processor

Judges were impressed with the new CORIOview features: “Beautiful video windowing, utilizing intuitive software for preset layouts, with an integrator-friendly REST API for control.” Enhancements include support for rotated displays, cloned outputs, and a new multi-user HTTPS SSL security interface. Single points of failure are removed with the new cloned output functionality on the dual output modules. CORIOgrapher supports secure HTTPS SSL connectivity. The ultra-compact, 4K multi-window processor can take inputs from up to eight separate sources for HDMI (4K or HD), DVI, 3G-SDI, HD-SDI, HDBaseT (4K or HD), and streaming video depending on the configuration of its modular design, and output them to HDMI (4K or HD), DVI, 3G-SDI or HDBaseT (HD). Judges liked the “customizable card slots for inputs and outputs which makes this product flexible.”

Judges made the case for this award saying, “Although the XTEN-AV was just launched at InfoComm 2019, the demo was impressive and got a such a great response from integrators we talked to, we’re willing to go out on a limb with this one.” XTEN-AV is a first of a kind AV design software. It’s a cloud-based and AI powered for machine learning. XTEN-AV allows AV system integrators to design end-to-end professional AV system solutions as per AVIXA standards. The built-in algorithms perform complex math and physics calculations to derive the required specifications of individual AV components; the algorithm then suggests the matching product from the XTEN-AV database of 165,000 products. The cloud-based drawing tool then generates following documents automatically: Line schematics with port details, signal flow diagrams, rack layouts, ceiling speaker layout, cable schedule with cable ID, scope of work document, and end customer proposals. This is a proprietary technology and is patent pending. “If this product works like the demo—it will be a game-changer,” added one judge.
