2011 Innovative Product: Middle Atlantic BGR Series Rack with LeverLock

Middle Atlantic founder Bob Schluter spearheaded this next-generation rack design himself over the past two years leading up to an InfoComm 2011 debut. The rack was completely rethought from layout to features to aesthetics, including the first-ever use of the space between the side of rackmounted equipment and the rack wall. Here, Schluter placed a vertical plate system to hold smaller devices and/or power, removable without tools—the patent-pending LeverLock.
