Yamaha Commercial Audio Systems launched the big brother to the Nexo RS15, the new Nexo RS18 sub, at InfoComm 2010. The Nexo RS18 is the second product in the company’s patented Ray Sub series, which was first revealed in 2009 and has, in a short time, set new standards in versatility for sub¬woofers. The new compact dual 18in. Ray Sub is designed to perform in both directional and omnidirectional modes and has the ability to be flown or stacked in configurations tailored to the application’s coverage needs. It is a practical solution in installations and truck packs where space is at a premium. The RS18 can be used with a wide variety of Nexo systems, including the Geo T and the PS15-R2. Price: NA
