ASIS International 23rd Annual Government/Industry Conference on Global Terrorism

ASIS International, the preeminent organization for security management professionals worldwide, will hold its 23rd annual conference on global terrorism at the Ritz Carlton in Pentagon City (Arlington, Va.) on Mar. 14 – 16, 2005. The ASIS Global Terrorism, Political Instability, and International Crime Council sponsors the event.
Even in the wake of 9/11 there are few direct and robust channels of communication for government agencies and the private sector to exchange information about terrorist threats. Confusion and misinterpretation among government agencies is still rife, and little information is disseminated to the private sector. Thus, the conference’s primary focus centers on opening these essential channels of communication between the private sector and government agencies.
Attendance would be especially beneficial to corporate security professionals, law enforcement officials, and government representatives responsible for planning, implementing, and managing responses to terrorist threats.
