When homeowners and builders have a choice between a contractor that has received reputable training and certification and one that has not, the choice is clear. Companies that make an investment in the education of their employees earn high returns in the form of credibility and increased profits.

CEDIA University is much more than the path to displaying the CEDIA-Certified logo on your proposals and installation vehicles. The high-quality courses are designed and taught by the most experienced and successful professionals in the residential electronics systems industry. CEDIA University turns new employees into savvy professionals and prepares companies to compete for the high-dollar, high profile business in their areas.

Now, with CU On the Road, CEDIA is bringing its quality education and certification programs to Toronto in April and Vancouver, British Columbia, in May. The class sizes will be even smaller than usual, and attendees have access to four classes over four days for $200 U.S., which is a savings of up to $150 U.S. The format of these events will focus on concentrated areas of CEDIA University’s five curricula—electronic systems technician (EST), electronic systems designer (ESD), electronic systems project manager (ESPM), electronic systems business (ESB), and electronic systems customer relations (ESCR). Certification reviews and exams, seminars, and full-day workshops will be offered, as well.

CEDIA University will also offer its EST core-curriculum and certification review classes nationwide via live webcast from the Toronto event. Costs for the webcast courses are the same as the costs for attending in person. CEDIA Certification exams will be available throughout Canada at 20 different testing locations in the near future. Detailed information about testing center locations and registration will be posted on the CEDIA website as it becomes available.
