Christie premiered its new LW600 digital projector, which complements the company's family of widescreen projectors as a high-brightness, twin-stackable, 3LCD solution.
The LW600 is a Wide-XGA projector that emits 6000 ANSI lumens and provides a 2000:1 contrast ratio. It also has 10-Bit image processing and is compatible with most computer and video sources, including high definition formats up to 1080p.
"The Christie LW600 is ideal for today's market of WXGA laptops and PC's that now encompass not only standard data presentations but widescreen HD formats. With the growing trend toward Wide-XGA format, the need to display this native resolution is becoming more important for today's applications," said Frank Anzures, product manager for business products at Christie. "The Christie LW600 gives professionals everything they need and want including high brightness and accurate color reproduction, easy set up, and expandability."
A range of 12 high-performance lenses and two expandable option bays for input modules allow the LW600 to be configured to meet a variety of installation needs. It also features an AutoFilter system that rotates to a new section of the filter every 1,000 hours and holds 10 filter sheets.
