Crown International Appoints New Intercontinental Sales Director

Crown International has hired Jaime Albors as the intercontinental sales director. Albors comes to Crown following a ten-year career with Villa Music, the largest pro audio, musical instrument, and lighting wholesale and retail operation in Puerto Rico, where he most recently held the position of vice president of operations and was responsible for management, strategic planning, market development, and sales.

Crown International has hired Jaime Albors as the intercontinental sales director. Albors comes to Crown following a ten-year career with Villa Music, the largest pro audio, musical instrument, and lighting wholesale and retail operation in Puerto Rico, where he most recently held the position of vice president of operations and was responsible for management, strategic planning, market development, and sales.

“Jaime is a tremendous addition to the Crown sales team,” says Scott Robbins, vice president of sales. “His experience in the cultures of Latin America and fluency in both Spanish and English will be a great asset as he works to expand Crown’s presence in those areas of the world. Additionally, his extensive experience and knowledge of all facets of the pro audio business mean Jaime is ready to hit the ground running. We couldn’t be more excited to have Jaime join us.”

Reporting to Robbins, Albors will manage all sales activities pertaining to the Latin American and Canadian markets. In addition to regularly visiting distributors, dealers, contractors, and consultants throughout these territories, he will also act as a liaison between the field and Crown factory in regards to product development, large-scale sales opportunities, and various marketing issues such as international trade shows and advertising.

“I can’t wait to get started on this challenge,” Albors says. “I have many ideas to help increase Crown’s presence in all vertical markets. The Intercontinental territory has great opportunity for growth. Our distribution partners have done an excellent job in the territory and it’s my duty to help them to get even better.
