Furman Sound and The Edge Distributors Group Announce Strategic Alliance to Serve Custom Install Market

Furman Sound Inc. announced that the company has tapped The Edge Distributors Group, a nationwide coalition of distributors serving the custom installation and retail markets, to distribute its award-winning power conditioning and surge protection products for sale within the residential and custom install markets. Edge will begin selling all available Furman consumer electronics models immediately. Dave Keller, Furman’s executive vice president of sales and marketing, made the announcement.
In making the announcement, Mr. Keller said, “Furman has been the industry leader and an innovative force in the audio, music industry, and AV contractor spaces, and has developed a broad array of products that address the needs of each of these categories. Edge will play an invaluable role in helping us build upon our history of success in these areas as we expand into the consumer electronics arena. Their unparalleled nationwide coalition of distributors will fast track our efforts and profile within the custom installation and retail marketplace. Effective immediately, Edge will distribute all existing Furman Sound domestic consumer electronics power conditioning and surge protection products including the Reference Series, Elite Series, Power Stations, AC-215, RVC-7W, SB-1000, M-8, M-10, and RL-LED.
